Few still have faith in the future. The only ones wandering the earth are those driven by blind faith. After a thousand hardships, two friars land on an island “never touched by civilized beings” with the desire to convert the natives. They will find savages who are by no means warlike, but have very clear ideas about religious matters. So convincing that almost the friars themselves will end up converted.
