The heretics featured in this exhibition include, among others, Gianluca Lerici aka Professor Bad Trip, Mattia Moreni, Cristina Campo, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Carmelo Bene, Sylvano Bussotti, Enrico Colombotto Rosso, Federico Tosi, Sergio Vacchi, Giannetto Fieschi, Amelia Rosselli, Pietro Ghizzardi, Cosey Fanni Tutti, Guido Costa, Ugolino, and Maria Sole. These are examples of nonconformism in its rawest form—where madness, provocation, and perversity become disruptive, subversive forces that defy assimilation. Unconventional, rebellious, iconoclastic, provocative, irreverent, defiant—these are the protagonists of Eretici.
