{"id":4068,"date":"2022-04-12T13:16:42","date_gmt":"2022-04-12T13:16:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tekegallery.it\/?product=professor-bad-trip-collection-volume-2"},"modified":"2026-05-25T14:11:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-25T14:11:09","slug":"professor-bad-trip-collection-volume-2","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/tekegallery.it\/en\/artworks\/professor-bad-trip-collection-volume-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Professor Bad Trip Collection &#8211; Volume 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The collection includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>n.1 Red cotton shoulder bag, 32 x 44 cm, handmade and hand screen-printed on both sides with the project logo and those of its promoters;<\/li>\n<li>n.6 Original black and white screen prints, 30 x 42 cm, by Professor Bad Trip;<\/li>\n<li>n.1 Original red and white screen print, 30 x 42 cm, by Professor Bad Trip.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Edition curated by La Luce Rossa, Organic Mutation Institute, Tabularasa Edizioni, Tek\u00e8 Gallery.<br \/>\nEntirely hand screen-printed by La Luce Rossa.<br \/>\nThe screen-printed project text was conceived by Simone Lucciola and handwritten by Valerio Lazzaretti.<\/p>\n<p>The project originated from an idea by Gianluca Lerici and the commitment of the authors Jenamarie Filaccio, Vittore Baroni, Juan Allende, and Stefano Dazzi Dvo\u0159\u00e1k to carry it through.<br \/>\nWe decided to return to good old self-publishing, reprinting in screen print a selection of drawings created by Gianluca Lerici throughout his career, compiling them in a collection of which this is the second volume. Before his passing, Gianluca had already designed the anthropomorphic logo found on the packaging of the \u201cProfessor Bad Trip Collection.\u201d It was retrieved in its original form from his chaotic archive by the intrepid Good Jena Omi.<br \/>\nIn the early 1990s, Gianluca and Jena moved the headquarters of the Organic Mutation Institute\u2014their studio\u2014to the small mountain village of Castelpoggio, a few minutes from Carrara. There, a small, low-ceilinged room\u2014code name \u201cCuban prison\u201d\u2014was converted into a screen printing lab for producing T-shirts, posters, stickers, and more at home.<br \/>\nWe followed the (non-)instructions to the letter, recreating a screen printing workshop inside Tek\u00e8 Gallery in Carrara, inspired by the original \u201cCuban prison\u201d: La Luce Rossa, where the Collection was created.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cIf we aren\u2019t vaporized in the coming weeks by an intergalactic disintegration ray, perhaps it means we didn\u2019t screw up. And if a world growing ever more hopelessly dystopian is still waiting for us\u2014between a pandemic and an ecocatastrophe\u2014we\u2019ll surely be back for Volume 3.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Vittore
