Over time, he became an integral part of the gallery's team and a full-time resident artist.<\/p>\n<p>His works immediately struck Juan so deeply that, on December 3rd, 2021, a solo exhibition titled \u201cThe Confusion\u201d was inaugurated within the spaces of Tek\u00e9 Gallery.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>\u201cConfusion\u201d has accompanied humanity since the dawn of its social evolution. The creation of artificial systems has led to an exponential suppression of instinct and everything humanity struggles to face openly.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16951 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/tekegallery.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Confusion-01-219x300.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"293\" height=\"401\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tekegallery.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Confusion-01-219x300.webp 219w, https:\/\/tekegallery.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Confusion-01-9x12.webp 9w, https:\/\/tekegallery.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Confusion-01.webp 685w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 293px) 100vw, 293px\" \/>From this stems Dr. Doop3's need to visualize this repressed and pulsating force through the techniques acquired during his artistic training (Shui-mo, the art of chiaroscuro; Gongbi, the art of meticulous realism; and traditional printing techniques learned during his time in Italy), all filtered through the cultural stimuli that surrounded him as he grew up\u2014from the explosion of anime (such as Evangelion) to the underground hip-hop scene, in which he actively participated in his hometown through posters, album covers, and streetwear design (BZUG crew).<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cmonsters\u201d he gives birth to are instinctive, hidden in the subconscious, bursting violently onto the scene.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16953 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/tekegallery.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Confusion-02-222x300.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"234\" height=\"316\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tekegallery.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Confusion-02-222x300.webp 222w, https:\/\/tekegallery.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Confusion-02-9x12.webp 9w, https:\/\/tekegallery.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Confusion-02.webp 625w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 234px) 100vw, 234px\" \/>Multiple eyes stare at the viewer\u2014judging, unsettling.
