Povzner lavora con archetipi grotteschi e immagini storiche e della cultura pop; i suoi lavori spaziano tra scultura, disegno, pittura, stampa, installazioni su larga scala e land art. L\u2019autoriflessione e la conoscenza di s\u00e9, che si tratti di un\u2019analisi approfondita delle impressioni e delle fantasie dell\u2019infanzia dell\u2019artista, dell\u2019esplorazione dell\u2019esperienza dello studio accademico o delle pratiche e della routine quotidiane, tutti questi temi diventano centrali per Alexander Povzner, che cerca di comprendere il suo mondo interiore, la sua vita e la sua libert\u00e0 nella sua pratica artistica. Con l\u2019aiuto di mezzi apparentemente semplici, l\u2019artista attira gli spettatori nel suo \u201cvortice\u201d immaginativo, spingendoli verso pensieri e sentimenti nuovi o a lungo dimenticati e trasmettendo loro l\u2019energia che l\u2019artista stesso sperimenta.
