La Luce Rossa
Arriving from Argentina via a rather unhealthy carrier, the fetish of silkscreen printing bursts into flame. Unstoppable, it spreads within the gallery’s walls — at first it was just a small darkroom, a few hinges on the workbench holding timid frames made from a metal rod and a flip-flop.
But closed in his dark little room, Juan Carlos Allende stretched, gelled, and etched. And so, a carousel today, a squeegee tomorrow, La Luce Rossa Lab was born!
Since 2020, our workshop has been producing silkscreen prints on paper and fabrics: to hang, to leaf through, to wear! Every piece is made entirely by hand, in line with our fetish for analog printing. Each work is unique, carefully crafted step by step by hands decorated with ink stains, attentive eyes, patience, and tobacco!
Our prints come from collaborations with various artists who lend their graphics — each with its own story — to be printed in small runs (we proudly choose not to use machines) that we are excited to present to you!
